BREAKING NEWS: Supreme Court Rules on Ariz. Immigration Law

Supreme Court Strikes Down Parts of Ariz. Immigration Law, Upholds Section Giving Local Law Enforcement Authority to Police

The Supreme Court has struck down most of Arizona's immigration law, but upheld parts of the law. The ruling was 5-3. The law gives local law enforcement the authority to police illegal immigration. The court ruled against a part of the law that made it a state crime to look for work or be in the state without papers.
