Central Park Rape Suspect Picked Out of Lineup, Expected to be Charged: Cops

The 73-year-old birdwatcher who was violently sexually assaulted in Central Park has identified her attacker, NYPD spokesman Paul Browne tells NBC 4 New York.

The suspect, 42-year-old David Mitchell, was identified in a lineup by the victim at the Special Victims Unit Thursday afternoon. He is expected to be charged later Thursday.
