NJ Turnpike Closed in Both Directions Due to Leaning Power Lines

The New Jersey Turnpike is closed in both directions at the George Washington Bridge because of leaning power lines near Jones Road.

The turnpike is closed until 8 p.m.

Traffic is being diverted to Route 46 and the Palisades Parkway.
